COMPENSATORY LEAVE WITH PAY. 34.01 Upon request of an employee and with the approval of the Employer, compensation earned under Article 27 - Overtime; Article 28 - Call-Back Pay; Article 29 – Standby; Article 30 – Reporting Pay; and travelling time compensated at an overtime rate under Article 33 - Travelling Time, may be taken in the form of compensatory leave, which will be calculated at the premium rate laid down in the applicable Article.

COMPENSATORY LEAVE WITH PAY. B35.01 Upon request by the employee and at the discretion of the Employer, compensation earned under Articles B4 – Overtime, B5 – Call-back, B6 – Standby, travelling time compensated at an overtime rate under Article B8 –- Travelling Time, and B9 –Scientific Research Allowances may be taken in the form of compensatory leave, which will be calculated at the premium rate laid down in the applicable Article.

Each year a new overtime list will start for all employees on November 1st. This overtime list will consist of a running total of all overtime opportunities offered in hours.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.

  • Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his or her earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the vacation year.

  • Personal Leave With Pay With prior notification, full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use a maximum of six (6) days personal leave with pay per year, provided that such days shall be charged against the employee’s current accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.

  • Bereavement Leave With Pay For the purpose of this Article, immediate family is defined as father, mother (or alternatively step-father, step-mother or xxxxxx parent), brother, sister, spouse (including common-law partner residing with the employee), child (including child of common-law partner), step-child or xxxx of the employee, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, or mother-in-law, and any relative permanently residing in the employee’s household or with whom the employee permanently resides.

  • Leave of Absence With Pay 1. A leave with pay will be granted when an employee serves on a jury or is subpoenaed as a witness in court. The employee shall claim any jury, witness or other fee to which he/she may be entitled by reason of such appearance and forthwith pay the same over to the county clerk.
