Compensation for Working Overtime. (1) Employees shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of time and one-half for all overtime hours worked.

(1a) Employees shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of time and one-half for all overtime hours workedworked except that compensation shall be at the rate of double time for that portion of overtime that exceeds seven and one-half (7.5) hours of contiguous overtime. Once an employee is in receipt of double time then they remain at double time until such time as they have a rest period of eight consecutive hours.
