Compensation for Additional Days Clause Samples
The "Compensation for Additional Days" clause establishes the terms under which a party is paid for work or services performed beyond the originally agreed project timeline. Typically, this clause specifies the rate or method for calculating extra payment, such as a daily rate for each additional day required to complete the work, and may outline the process for approving and documenting these extra days. Its core function is to ensure fair compensation for extended efforts and to prevent disputes by clearly defining how extra time is valued and paid for.
Compensation for Additional Days. Additional days will be compensated pro rata based on the daily rate of pay for work related to the employee’s typical assigned duties. Other work not directly related to the employee’s typical assigned duties will be paid at the casual hourly rate of pay.
Compensation for Additional Days. Any bargaining unit member who is employed for additional days beyond a regular work year, as defined in this Agreement shall receive additional compensation, the amount of which shall be determined by dividing the employee’s total contract salary, as defined in this Agreement, by one hundred eighty-nine (189) and multiplying the resulting number by the additional number of days employed. Compensation for additional days shall not be included in the base contract salary or total contract salary.
Compensation for Additional Days. In addition to the pay changes above, current employees whose required duty days increase for 2022-2023 shall receive an additional increase of $2,500 in 2022-2023 as compensation for additional days.
