An employee assigned to another base as per Article may be transferred out of seniority order. All transfers shall be done within an employee's classification.The purpose of a compassionate transfer is not to fill a permanent vacancy. Cabin Personnel on compassionate transfer shall take their vacation with them to their new base. If the vacation bid period occurs during the compassionate transfer, Cabin Personnelshall bid in their base. The employee will absorb all costs associated with any moves. The on-going justification for all Compassionate transfers will be reviewed monthly by the Local Union and Base Managers involved. I' NOTICES, DUES UNION FLIGHT RELEASES The Company recognizes the importance of handling Union business such as grievances, negotiations, attendance at Union meetings at various levels, including the importance of the role of Union officers in carrying out the functions of Union business.

Such temporary transfers may be granted, subject to operational requirements, to an Employee for up to three (3) Months. Extensions are subject to and of this Clause. Requests for compassionate transfers shall be in writing to the Component President and the Director of Customer Service. Any documents provided by Cabin Personnel to support the request for a compassionate transfer will be shared with both the Component President and the Company. Compassionate transfers are subject to the approval in writing of the Company and the Union. Decisions will then be communicated to the Employee in writing. MUTUAL BASE EXCHANGES Where two or more Cabin Personnel have their names on the statement of preference list, the Cabin Personnel, in order of seniority, will be allowed to exchange Bases and the transfer shall be approved by the Company. Such Base exchange shall not create a vacancy. Each Employee shall be entitled to a maximum of seven (7) Days without pay, every three (3) years, free from all duty to report to their new Base, and any moving costs shall be as per Clause
COMPASSIONATE TRANSFERS. 31.1. The Employer will consider, on a case by case basis, requests from Employees for transfers based on compassionate grounds.

COMPASSIONATE TRANSFERS. Where a teacher, executive or principal has exceptional and compelling circumstances requiring their relocation to another school they may apply for a compassionate transfer under Section 51A of the Teaching Service Xxx 0000. These may be medical, environmental or personal circumstances or extraordinary circumstances as determined by the Executive Director, Public Schools NSW. An application should be made on the Application for a Section 51A Transfer on Compassionate Grounds form and forwarded to the Executive Director, Public Schools NSW through the principal and Director, Public Schools NSW. The guidelines and application are in Section 51A Compassionate Transfer Guideline.

  • Medical Transfers The District shall give alternate work, when it is available, to a Unit Member who has become medically unable to satisfactorily perform the Unit Member’s regular job classification duties. The alternate work may constitute lateral transfer or voluntary transfer to a lower classification. The District may require a statement from a licensed physician certifying that the Unit Member is medically able to perform the duties of the alternate work.

  • Permitted Transfers The provisions of Section 8.1 shall not apply to (a) a transfer or an assignment of this Lease in connection with the sale of substantially all the original Tenant’s assets if: (I) such sale of assets occurs on an arms’-length basis, to an unrelated third party, and is for a bona fide business purpose and not primarily to transfer Tenant’s interest in this Lease; and (II) upon the consummation of the transfer or assignment, the transferee or assignee is, in the sole, but reasonable determination of Landlord (and its lender, if applicable), capable of satisfying all of Tenant’s obligations hereunder; (b) an assignment of this Lease to a successor to Tenant by merger, consolidation, reorganization or similar corporate restructuring or to an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with, Tenant; or (c) a subletting of the Premises or any part thereof. In the case of an assignment or sublease that is expressly permitted pursuant to (a) or (c) of this Section 8.3, Tenant shall nevertheless be required to provide Landlord with notice of such assignment or sublease and a true and complete copy of the fully-executed documentation pursuant to which the assignment or sublease, as applicable, has been effectuated within ten (10) business days after the effective date of such assignment or sublease. Any permitted transferee under (a) of this Section 8.3 shall execute and deliver to Landlord any and all documentation reasonably required by Landlord in order to evidence assignee’s assumption of all obligations of Tenant hereunder and to evidence the assignee’s compliance (or ability to comply) with (a)(II) above. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Section 8.3, in no event may Tenant assign, mortgage, transfer, pledge or sublease this Lease to any entity whatsoever if, at the time of such assignment, mortgage, transfer, pledge or sublease, a Default has occurred and remains continuing under this Lease.

  • Blood Donations An employee may be granted leave with pay, up to a maximum of two (2) hours, for donating blood during regularly scheduled hours of work.

  • Refused Transfers We reserve the right to refuse any transfer. As required by applicable law, we will notify you promptly if we decide to refuse to transfer funds.

  • Employee Transfers It is anticipated that an Employee may be transferred between Participating Employers, and in the event of any such transfer, the Employee involved shall carry with him his accumulated service and eligibility. No such transfer shall effect a termination of employment hereunder, and the Participating Employer to which the Employee is transferred shall thereupon become obligated hereunder with respect to such Employee in the same manner as was the Participating Employer from whom the Employee was transferred.
