Committeeperson. One (1) Committee person shall be selected to represent each area of representation as mutually agreed. The Grievance Committee shall consist of the Local President, the Local Chairperson, and two (2) Committeepersons plus the Office Committeeperson. If a skilled tradesperson is not elected, the Plant Committeeperson/Chairperson will represent the skilled trade employees on the Committee. If a skilled tradesperson is elected, he/she will automatically become part of the Committee. In any case, the number of persons on the Grievance Committee will remain the same regardless. (i.e. Plant Committeeperson/Chairperson, Local President, Office Committeeperson, Skilled Tradesperson plus two additional Committee Persons. If at anytime the active hourly employee count decreases to thirty- (30) employees or less on a shift there shall be one (1) Committeeperson on the shift and that Committeeperson shall be the senior Committeeperson. The Chairperson shall be continued as per Article 6.11.
Committeeperson. Any committee person who comes in early or stays late for a meeting will be charged the applicable overtime hours for the duration of the meeting. Attendance sheets will be submitted for overtime tracking. Any other em- ployee who is attending a meeting before or after their shift will be charged the applicable overtime hours for the duration of the meeting and management should track hours on overtime canvassing sheet.
Committeeperson. The committeeperson and plant chairperson at the time of their elections must have been employees of the Company for at least twelve (12) months. The duty of the committeeperson and plant chairperson shall be to represent the employee(s) in the processing of grievances as outlined in the Grievance Procedure.
Committeeperson. 7.02 It is also agreed that the afternoon shift and midnight shift shall have Union representation in the person of either the Committeeperson or a Xxxxxxx (to be appointed or elected by the Union) whenever employees are working the above-mentioned shift.
Committeeperson. Whenever the number of employees in the bargaining unit exceeds four hundred (400), then the Union may be represented by two (2) Committeepersons.
Committeeperson. The primary obligation of a Committeeperson is to perform regular work for the Company; accordingly, no Committeeperson shall leave work to administer this Agreement without requesting and obtaining the permission of supervisor. When returning to regular duties will report to supervisor and advise the supervisor of the general nature of the matter was dealing with during absence, if requested. The Company agrees to not unreasonably withhold such permission and the Union agrees to keep the time spent to the minimum necessary. The jurisdiction of a Committeeperson is limited to the department or group of departments represents.
Committeeperson. As discussed, it is understood that upon request, the Committeeperson Chrysler Unit, CAW/Security, will attend all regular and special conferences and appeal meetings. (c02)
Committeeperson. (a) Regardless of seniority, an employee who is a committeeperson shall be kept at work in department as long as there is work available in department which is willing and able to do. If no such work is available in department, shall have the same privilege in elected district. In the event of a temporary layoff, a committeeperson, if so desires, may elect to take a voluntary layoff as per Clause Regardless of seniority, the Plant Chairperson shall be kept at work in department, as long as there is work that is willing and able to do. If no such work is available in department, will exercise privilege in the following order:
Committeeperson. The Plant Chairperson, when the active hourly workforce is at 75 employees and above, will be allowed to work on union business for the last four (4) hours of the dayshift. When the workforce is at 74 employees or less, the allotted time will be reduced to the last two (2) hours of the shift.
Committeeperson. As discussed, it is understood that upon request, the Committeeperson DaimlerChrysler Unit, CAW/Security, will attend all regular and special conferences and appeal meetings. (c02)
