Common use of Commencement and Completion of Work Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Completion of Work. The execution of this AGREEMENT by the parties does not constitute an authorization to proceed. The services of CONSULTANT shall commence when the OWNER, acting by and through its Director of Public Works or his designee, has issued the Notice to Proceed. CONSULTANT shall have no claim for compensation for any services or work which has not been authorized by the OWNER's Notice to Proceed.
