COAP Preparation Sample Clauses
The COAP Preparation clause outlines the responsibilities and procedures for preparing a Certificate of Acceptance of Performance (COAP) in a contractual context. Typically, this clause specifies which party is responsible for drafting the COAP, the timeline for its preparation, and the criteria that must be met before the certificate can be issued, such as completion of work or fulfillment of contractual obligations. By clearly defining the process for documenting acceptance of performance, this clause ensures that both parties have a mutual understanding of when obligations have been satisfactorily completed, thereby reducing disputes and providing a formal record of project milestones.
