CLOTHING AND TOOLS. 27.01 The Company will pay the full cost of work gloves and mitts for employees requiring same in the course of duties, as designated by the Company, with said gloves and mitts being classified as safety equipment. The number of work gloves and mitts to be issued each year will be determined by the Company.

CLOTHING AND TOOLS. 19.1 The Company agrees to provide, free of charge to employees, safety supplies and articles of clothing and footwear which are deemed by law or Company policy to be necessary for the employee’s safety and health. In addition, the Company will provide winter clothing and winter footwear to employees who are required to work on a continuous basis outside. The Company shall supply suitable seasonal protective clothing for unloading of supplies. The employees will provide all other articles of clothing.

Uniforms  Custodial and Maintenance Staff Where uniforms are provided to the custodial and maintenance staff who have completed their probationary period, such uniforms shall be selected by a committee appointed by the Coordinator Committee (Labour/Management). Where a suitable uniform has been selected and is deemed by the Parties to be acceptable, the cost shall be shared on a fifty-fifty (50/50) basis.  Committee The matter of uniforms will be referred to a joint committee. The purpose of the committee will be to agree to the provision of uniforms. Any unresolved matter can be referred to a board of arbitration for resolution.

And to linemen: spurs and belts. And to inside meter maintenance men: smocks as required, the employee being responsible for laundering and maintenance.
