Clinical Ladder. Gardens representatives will work together with ONA 10 nurses, with representation from every Nursing Department that elects to participate, in 11 a committee that has no more Gardens representation than nurses (and may have 12 fewer), to define objective and measurable guidelines for a clinical ladder compensation 13 option for full and part-time nurses. Guidelines will include ultimate approval by CEO for 14 standards and compensation as well as CEO approval for each clinical ladder project 15 proposal and the validation of each project completion. Clinical Ladder. Section 1. The RGH Clinical Ladder program will not limit a nurse’s scope of care, and all RNs will continue to practice to the full scope of their license. Further, no job positions shall be limited to those at a specific step on the clinical ladder. A nurse’s position on the clinical ladder will not impact a nurse’s ability to bid or be awarded a vacancy, except that the placement on the clinical ladder can be among factors considered when determining a nurse’s qualifications and experience.
Clinical Ladder. Criteria for the Clinical Ladder will be at the sole discretion of the employer. A copy shall be sent to the union. Staff RNs may apply for entry to the Clinical Ladder at Clinical levels 2, 3 and/or 4. LPNs may apply to the Clinical Ladder at Clinical level 2. One (1) year will be allowed for completion of applicable criteria. Criteria will be evaluated on an annual basis in order to remain at the acquired clinical level. The evaluation will take place at the end of each contract year. The committee to evaluate accomplishment of criteria for the clinical levels will include a representative from the applicable job classification, who is a member of a nursing council. Differentials for clinical steps will be paid as follows: Registered Nurse 04/28/2019 Clinical Xxxxx 0 $1.00 Clinical Xxxxx 0 $1.25 Clinical Xxxxx 0 $1.50 Licensed Practical Nurse Clinical Xxxxx 0 $ .75 Eligibility for differentials will commence with the beginning of each contract year. No aspect of the clinical ladder program shall be subject to the grievance and arbitration provisions of this agreement.
Clinical Ladder. 28.1 The Hospital may in its sole discretion create and implement a Clinical Ladder Program during the life of this Agreement. Prior to the implementation, the Hospital will provide thirty (30) days’ notice to the Union of its decision to implement along with the details of such program.

Clinical Ladder. The parties agree the Nursing Task Force agenda will include discussions on a potential Clinical Ladder for nurses at the Hospital, as well as discussions regarding Standby/Callback in the Operating Room Department and concerns the nurses have regarding the current process. Nurses who are members of the OFNHP bargaining team will be permitted, at their option, to take an MDO day on those dates that the parties net for negotiation sessions. Nurses who take an MDO day for a day of negotiations will not suffer loss of any fringe benefits as a result of not working on such day. NOTES
