The 'Click Configure Alerts' clause establishes the user's ability to set up and manage notification preferences within a system or application. Typically, this clause allows users to specify which types of alerts they wish to receive, such as email notifications for account activity or reminders for upcoming deadlines, and to adjust the frequency or method of delivery. Its core practical function is to give users control over their alert settings, ensuring they receive relevant information while minimizing unwanted notifications.
Click Configure Alerts. In the Alert Settings section, configure the following information: RAISE THIS ALERT WHEN: Set the threshold that triggers the alert. Critical If the monitored value crosses the defined value, Navicat Monitor will raise a Critical alert. Warning If the monitored value crosses the defined value, Navicat Monitor will raise a Warning alert. for longer than Set the duration that the monitored value crosses the defined value.
Click Configure Alerts. Enter a note for that alert in the MANAGER NOTE: text box.
Click Configure Alerts. In the Notification Settings section, configure the following information: SEND NOTIFICATION WHEN: Select the alert statuses (raised, ended) you want to send notifications. VIA: Select the methods (Email, SMS, SNMP, Slack) you want to send notifications. RECIPIENT (EMAIL & SMS): Select users and/or specific email addresses you want to notify.
Click Configure Alerts. Turn Enable Alert to ON or OFF.
