CLASSIFICATION PAY. The Board agrees that if a member of the bargaining unit is requested to and does perform all work that is normally performed by an employee holding a higher classification, then such member shall receive the rate of pay normally paid the higher classified employee from the first day of assignment. There shall not be a classification pay change solely because of a shift change. In order for an employee to receive classification pay, the employee must work such assignment for a period of time not less than five (5) days as approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
