The beneficiary is the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs. The project will be implemented through three individual calls for proposals (EUR 2,100,000; EUR 3,150,000; and EUR 525,000) foreseen to be laun- ched in the 2nd quarter 2013. The grant schemes will aim at the contribution of civil society organisations that is crucial for the con- sistent implementation of the overall legal framework aligned with the acquis, and for the long-term sustainability of the civil sector.
Civil Society Organisations. Civil society organisations shall contribute to the strengthening of interactions between local commu- nities and the other stakeholders, the consolidation of technical and financial support to community-based initiatives and the promotion of environmental edu- cation. They shall ensure observation and advocacy in terms of sustainable management of water and environ- ment, sanitation, health, governance, transparency and prevention of conflicts. They shall contribute to the protection and conserva- tion of water resources and the environment and the awareness raising, information and training of local stakeholders as well.

  • Technical and Organisational Measures (1) Before the commencement of processing, the Supplier shall document the execution of the necessary Technical and Organisational Measures, set out in advance of the awarding of the Order or Contract, specifically with regard to the detailed execution of the contract, and shall present these documented measures to the Client for inspection. Upon acceptance by the Client, the documented measures become the foundation of the contract.   • Function of Joint Health and Safety Committee All incidents involving aggression or violence shall be brought to the attention of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. The Employer agrees that the Joint Health and Safety Committee shall concern itself with all matters relating to violence to staff.

  • Joint Health and Safety Committee i) Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Joint Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative selected or appointed by the Association from amongst bargaining unit employees from each Hospital site. Hospitals will choose either to include a representative from the bargaining unit from each Hospital site, or to have a separate Joint Health and Safety Committee at each Hospital site, unless the parties agree otherwise.

  • Joint Safety Committee (a) The Union and the Company shall cooperate in selecting one or more Safety Committees, which will meet at least once a month to consider all safety and occupational health problems.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in the promotion of safe working conditions, the prevention of accidents, the prevention of workplace injuries and the promotion of safe workplace practices.

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • Health and Safety Committees A. The parties agree that Joint Union/Management Health and Safety Committees are appropriate. At the Union's request, each department shall establish at least one Joint Union/Management Health and Safety Committee.
