Civil Rights Laws. (1) During the performance of this Contract the parties shall comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination laws including, but not limited to chapter 49.60 RCW, Washington’s Law Against Discrimination, and 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq., the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Civil Rights Laws a. GRANTEE, its officers, employees, members, and subcontractors hereby affirm current and ongoing compliance with all federal civil rights laws including:
Civil Rights Laws. UPRR will comply with all civil rights laws and regulations in relation to construction of the Project. These include, but are not limited to, the following: (a) Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88 352) (as implemented by 49 C.F.R. Part 21), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin; (b) Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended (20 U.S.C. §§ 1681 1683, and 1685 1686), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, (c) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794), which prohibits discrimination of the basis of handicaps; (d) the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended (42 U.S.C. §§ 1601 1607), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; (e) the Drug Abuse Office and Treatment Act of 1972 (P.L. 92 255), as amended, relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of drug abuse; (f) the Comprehensive Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Act of 1970 (P.L. 91 616), as amended, relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of alcohol abuse or alcoholism; (g) §§ 523 and 527 of the Public Health Service Act of 1912 (42 U.S.C. §§ 290 dd 3 and 290 ee 3), as amended, relating to confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records; HSR13-06 - EXECUTION VERSION
Civil Rights Laws. The Contractor shall be in compliance with all federal and state civil rights laws and regulations with respect to equal employment opportunity.
Civil Rights Laws. The Licensee assures and certifies that it shall comply with all applicable federal and State statutes to the end that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, familial status, political affiliation, or sexual orientation, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Agreement or under any project, program or activity supported by this Agreement.
Civil Rights Laws. The Municipality shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d et seq.) and Treasury’s implementing regulations at 31 C.F.R. Part 22, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin under programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
