Common use of City Project Manager Clause in Contracts

City Project Manager. City shall designate, when necessary, a representative authorized to act on City’s behalf with respect to the Project (“Project Manager”). City or the Project Manager shall examine the documents submitted by Artist and shall render any required decisions pertaining thereto as soon as practical so as to avoid unreasonable delay in the progress of the Services. Artist understands and agrees that the Project Manager and his or her authorized representative are not authorized to issue verbal or written Change Orders for “extra” work or “claims” invoiced as “extra” work.

City Project Manager. When necessary, in City’s sole discretion, City shall designate, when necessary, designate a representative authorized to act on City’s behalf with respect to the Project (“Project Manager”). City or City, the Project Manager and/or his or her authorized designee shall examine the documents submitted by Artist Consultant and shall render any required decisions pertaining thereto as soon as practical practicable so as to avoid unreasonable delay in the progress of the Consultant’s Services. Artist Consultant understands and agrees that the Project Manager and his or her authorized representative designee are not authorized to issue verbal or written Change Orders for “extra” work or “claims” invoiced as “extra” work.
