Common use of Charging Leave Clause in Contracts

Charging Leave. 1. Annual leave time shall be scheduled and charged to the employee for the actual time the employee is away from work. 2. Annual leave will be charged in .5 hour minimum increments. 3. Annual leave shall not be charged during City recognized holidays. 4. For purposes of determining overtime, authorized annual leave hours shall be construed as time worked. 5. After completion of six (6) months continuous service, the employee shall be eligible to use accrued leave.
