Change in Plan. If a supervisor on a Staff Development Leave changes his or her plan described in the leave application, he or she shall inform the Staff Development Leave Committee prior to implementing the change. If such prior notification is not possible, the Committee shall be notified at the earliest date possible. In all circumstances, changes in the plan shall continue to meet the stated objectives of the leave. The Committee shall review the proposed changes in consultation with the appropriate administrator. The Committee shall either approve or disapprove the amended plan and immediately inform the supervisor. If the amended plan is disapproved after the leave has commenced, the supervisor is expected to end the leave when notified of the disapproval.
