Certification and Endorsement. Employees retained to implement the modified and reduced educational program, as determined by the Board, shall possess a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate and/or endorsement(s) as may be required for the position to be filled. The Board shall fill vacancies from existing staff when at all possible, before implementing any mandatory employee reduction policy.
