Certificates for Shares Clause Samples
The 'Certificates for Shares' clause establishes the requirement and process for issuing physical or electronic certificates as evidence of share ownership in a company. Typically, this clause outlines when and how shareholders receive certificates, the information these certificates must contain (such as the shareholder's name and the number of shares held), and the procedure for replacing lost or damaged certificates. Its core practical function is to provide shareholders with formal proof of their ownership, thereby ensuring clarity and security in the record-keeping of shareholdings.
