Certain Rights Void Clause Samples

The 'Certain Rights Void' clause serves to invalidate specific rights or provisions that may otherwise be implied or assumed under an agreement. In practice, this clause identifies particular rights—such as those arising from prior agreements, statutory provisions, or general legal principles—that the parties agree will not apply or be enforceable within the context of their contract. For example, it may state that any rights not expressly granted in the contract are considered void. The core function of this clause is to eliminate ambiguity and prevent parties from asserting unintended rights, thereby ensuring that only the expressly agreed-upon terms govern the relationship.
