Cellular Phones. The Employer will reimburse employees to a maximum of $100.00 per month toward the cost of receipted cellular telephone costs in addition to employment-related long distance charges. It is understood that first time in-car installation will be paid by Employer. Employees will be permitted to apply the unused portion of the monthly allowance maximum towards reducing the amortization costs related to the purchase, leasing and/or annual licensing costs. It is understood that this provision applies only to those employees eligible to claim such costs under the cellular phone policy. It is further understood that the National Secretary-Treasurer's Office will develop a form which must be used by employees making claims under this provision. Claims under this provision cannot be made retroactively.
Cellular Phones. If the Department allows CIA members to use cellular phones in the performance of their job-related duties, the Department shall either provide the cellular phone or reimburse the reasonable and necessary costs associated with job-related personal cellular phone usage.
Cellular Phones. The County shall provide nurses whose practice requires field work with a functional, reliable mobile communication device (e.g., cellular phone). Such mobile communication devices shall be used pursuant to County policy. A nurse may request a stipend in accordance with County policy in lieu of a County-provided device.
Cellular Phones. Employees who have been designated by their manager to make work-related calls and/or texts will be paid a monthly cell phone allowance of $45.00 (forty-five dollars), or be provided a PPCW cell phone. The Employer will not ask any employee not so designated to make work-related calls or texts.
Cellular Phones. Teachers in the Birth to Three program that interact with students or their families off of school property as a regular part of their duties shall be provided a cellular telephone for use, at no cost to the teacher, in emergency situations and for other legitimate professional needs. Cellular phones provided should have the capability to send and receive text messages and to access district mandated calendar or scheduling technology. Other teachers who interact with students or their families off of school property as a regular part of their duties may request a district cellular telephone. Such request shall be granted at the discretion of the school/program administrator. Participation in regular classroom field trips or the voluntary teacher home visit program do not, by themselves, entitle a teacher to a district cellular telephone.
Cellular Phones. Subject to budget limitations, Sergeants will be issued cellular phones for business use. Sergeants who are issued cellular phones, shall not be eligible to be reimbursed for the cost of business calls that are made on personally owned cellular phones.
Cellular Phones. Employees who work offsite and/or pre-approved to use their personal cell phone for work purposes shall be reimbursed at a rate of $5.00 per month.

Unit members shall not be eligible to be reimbursed for the cost of business calls that are made on personally owned cellular phones. The January 23, 2020 MOA shall become effective and shall replace the March 12, 2009 MOA on the first day of the same pay period that the FY21 GWA is funded.
