Cause for Suspension. In those cases where any employee has not complied with Board policies and/or department regulations, but the infraction is not deemed serious enough to recommend dismissal, the department head may recommend suspension up to 30 calendar days without pay. All suspensions must be approved by the Superintendent.
Cause for Suspension. CBTS may suspend or restrict the use of Service (i) upon prior notification if the operations or efficiency of the Service is impaired by Customer’s use; or (ii) at any time any amount is past due from Customer to CBTS; or (iii) at any time there has been or is any breach of this Service Agreement.   • Without Cause; For Good Reason If the Executive’s employment is terminated by the Company without Cause before expiration of the Term, or if the Executive resigns for Good Reason before expiration of the Term, the Company shall have no further payment obligations to the Executive or his legal representatives, other than for payment of: (1) in a lump sum in cash within thirty (30) days after the Date of Termination (or such earlier date as required by applicable law) the Accrued Obligations; (2) the Accrued Incentives, which shall be payable in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Incentive Plans; (3) subject to Section 4(f) below, a lump-sum cash payment, to be made on the first normal payroll date following the Release Consideration Period (the “Initial Severance Payment Date”) in an amount equal to (x) the average of the annual bonuses paid to the Executive for the three immediately preceding completed fiscal years, or (y) if upon the Date of Termination the Executive has not been employed for three complete fiscal years, then the average of the annual bonuses paid to the Executive for the years employed with the Company (the “Average Bonus”); and (4) subject to Section 4(f) below, beginning on the Initial Severance Payment Date and thereafter in accordance with the customary payroll practices of the Company, continuation of the Executive’s Base Salary in effect on the Date of Termination (“Salary Continuation Payments”) for a period of 18 months. Any installments of the Severance Payments that, in accordance with customary payroll practices, would have typically been made during the Release Consideration Period shall accumulate and shall then be paid on the Initial Severance Payment Date. The Average Bonus together with the Salary Continuation Payments shall be referred to collectively as the “Severance Payments”.

  • TEN TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION 10.1. CONTRACTOR shall be considered in material default of this Agreement and such default will be considered cause for OWNER to terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, as further set forth in this section, for any of the following reasons: (a) failure to begin work under the Agreement within the times specified under the Notice(s) to Proceed, or (b) failure to properly and timely perform the services to be provided hereunder or as directed by OWNER, or (c) the bankruptcy or insolvency or a general assignment for the benefit of creditors by CONTRACTOR or by any of CONTRACTOR's principals, officers or directors, or (d) failure to obey laws, ordinances, regulations or other codes of conduct, or (e) failure to perform or abide by the terms or spirit of this Agreement, or (f) for any other just cause.   • Termination for Cause or Resignation without Good Reason If, during the Term of this Agreement, Executive’s employment is terminated by the Company for Cause, or Executive resigns his employment hereunder without Good Reason, the Company shall pay Executive the Termination Amounts, less standard deductions and withholdings. The Company shall thereafter have no further obligations to Executive under this Agreement, except as otherwise provided by law.

  • Termination Suspension Your right to use the Online Backup Feature will terminate on expiration of the Service Period. Symantec may immediately suspend or terminate use of the Online Backup Feature during the Service Period for Your failure to comply, or Symantec’s reasonable belief that You have failed to comply with these terms and conditions (other than a trivial or inconsequential breach) or any other misuse of the Online Backup Feature. Following the expiration or termination of the Service Period:  Symantec may permanently delete any Data stored to the online backup space provided with Your Software and Services;  Symantec will not be obligated to maintain such Data, forward such Data to You or a third party, or migrate such Data to another backup service or account; and  You will not be able to store the Data to any additional backup space that You may have purchased separately unless and until the Service Period is renewed.

  • Termination by the Company Without Cause or by Executive for Good Reason The Company may terminate Executive’s employment at any time without Cause, for any reason or no reason, and Executive may terminate Executive’s employment for “Good Reason.” For purposes of this Agreement “Good Reason” shall mean that, without Executive’s prior written consent, any of the following shall have occurred: (A) a material adverse change to Executive’s positions, titles, offices, or duties following the Effective Date from those set forth in Section 2, except, in such case, in connection with the termination of Executive’s employment for Cause or due to Total Disability, death or expiration of the Term; (B) a material decrease in base salary or material decrease in Executive’s Incentive Compensation opportunity provided under this Agreement; or (C) any other material failure by the Company to perform any material obligation under, or material breach by the Company of any material provision of, this Agreement; provided, however, that a termination by Executive for Good Reason under any of clauses (A) through (C) of this Section 4(e) shall not be considered effective unless Executive shall have provided the Company with written notice of the specific reasons for such termination within thirty (30) days after Executive has knowledge of the event or circumstance constituting Good Reason and the Company shall have failed to cure the event or condition allegedly constituting Good Reason within thirty (30) days after such notice has been given to the Company and Executive actually terminates his employment within one (1) year following the initial occurrence of the event giving rise to Good Reason. In the event that Executive’s employment is terminated by the Company without Cause or by Executive for Good Reason (and not, for the avoidance of doubt, in the event of a termination pursuant to Section 4(a), (b), (c) or (d) or due to or upon the expiration of the Term), the Company shall pay or provide the following amounts to Executive:
