Common use of Casuals Clause in Contracts

Casuals. The employer reserves the right to employ casuals without regard to ratio of the number of casuals to the number of permanent employees to allow it to meet peak demands. The Company shall determine the ratio of casual employees relative to the number of permanent employees and the ratio may vary during periods of peak demand beyond the control of the Company. This may also include periods of annual leave.
