Common use of CASH BASIS Clause in Contracts

CASH BASIS. a. It is the intent of the parties that the provisions of this Agreement conform to the Kansas Cash Basis Law ( K.S. A. 10-1101, et seq.) or the Kansas Budget law (K.S.A. 79- 2925). Therefore, notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, the City’ s obligations under this Agreement are to be construed in a manner that assures that the City is at all times in compliance with the Cash Basis law and the Budget laws for the State of Kansas.
