CARD SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONS. If at any time the Cal 1 Card system at the Merchant’s location mal- functions or otherwise indicates improper operation, the Merchant shall not utilize the system or accept the card as payment in the conduct of business under this Agreement. The Merchant should immediately telephone the Cal 1 Card IT Support Line at 510.642.7700 or, if after office hours, leave a voice mail message at this same number. If the Cal 1 Card Program hours of operation are altered to such a degree that would affect the business covered under this Agreement; notification will be furnished to the Merchant by the Cal 1 Card Program.
