CARB Certification Clause Samples
The CARB Certification clause requires that certain products, typically wood or composite materials, comply with the emissions standards set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). In practice, this means that suppliers or manufacturers must provide documentation or labeling proving that their products meet CARB's formaldehyde emission limits before those products can be sold or used in a project. This clause ensures that only compliant, low-emission materials are used, thereby protecting health and meeting regulatory requirements.
