Cancelled Trips. If a driver reports for a field trip on a non-scheduled work day and has not been given a minimum of two (2) hours’ notice of the cancellation of the field trip, the driver shall be paid two (2) hours at his/her regular hourly rate. If a field trip which was scheduled to leave within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the driver’s regular route (AM or PM), the driver will not receive extra pay even though 2 hours’ notice of the cancellation was not given.
Cancelled Trips. If a trip is cancelled before the trip is scheduled to start, that driver will have the first (1st) choice on the next Wednesday morning Trip Board. If a trip is cancelled after a driver has already arrived at the bus garage, that driver may take the minimum of two (2) hours show-up pay or place their name on first (1st) choice status on the next Wednesday Trip Board Bidding. That driver cannot do both. In the event that two (2) or more drivers had trips cancel that would have left the same day and time, the most senior driver will get first (1st) choice status on the next Wednesday Trip Board Bidding, following with the next senior driver until those drivers in first (1st) choice status have completed their bids. If there is more than one (1) driver that had their trip cancelled during the week, then the driver with the trip that was scheduled to leave first (1st), by date and time will have first (1st) choice status on the Trip Boards. If a driver or drivers in first (1st) choice status does not get a bid because of no trips, their first (1st) choice status will continue to the following week’s Trip Boards until all first (1st) choice status drivers take their bids or pass. If a driver has traded a Wednesday morning trip for a Choose or Move Board Trip and the Choose or Move Board Trip cancels, that driver only gets first (1st) choice status on the Choose or Move Board. If a bus driver has a trip that cancels and there is trip that has been assigned to a sub- driver, then that full-time driver may bump the sub-driver for said trip.
Cancelled Trips. Drivers shall be paid for two (2) hours in the event that they were not contacted and then reported for a trip that has been cancelled. In addition, the driver of the cancelled trip will not lose his/her place on the rotation for the next unassigned trip as a result of the cancelled trip.
Cancelled Trips. If a driver is notified of a District cancellation less than four (4) 2 hours prior to departure, the driver will receive a 2-hour call out.
Cancelled Trips. Subd. 1. When an extracurricular trip is canceled after a regular or activity route is given up, the driver shall receive his/her regular pay for routes given up.
Cancelled Trips. When school is cancelled due to weather or any other “Act of God” condition, trips that are cancelled for the Act of God day (or days) will be handled in the same manner as they are for any other occasion.
Cancelled Trips a) If a driver is cancelled prior to leaving their residence in order to achieve an on time pick-up, the driver will be reverted back to their original position on the board. The cancellation will accumulate one cent ($0.01) toward the Location Rotation Amount.
Cancelled Trips. 1. If a trip is cancelled before reporting for the trip, the driver will be eligible to pick first from the next posted list (the list the trip originated from).
Cancelled Trips. In the event a trip is cancelled and not rescheduled, the driver assigned will lose the trip. Should a trip be cancelled and rescheduled, the trip shall stay with the driver. Should the rescheduled trip be the same time the driver has another trip, the affected driver will be allowed to choose which trip they wish to take. The other trip shall then be offered as a pop-up trip. Proxy: Any driver unable to attend the Bid Process Meeting may proxy their bids by providing written documentation to the Director of Transportation’s office prior to the meeting, of their choice of driver who shall be bidding for them. If an employee cannot attend or must leave the meeting because of a random drug test, they shall be allowed to assign a proxy the day of the meeting. Shuttles/Kindergarten/Pre-School Routes: Yearly (by seniority) each driver will select only one (1) shuttle, kindergarten or pre-school route. If the selection of these routes would make it to a driver a second time, if compatible, a driver may have more than one (1) of the above routes. Route information shall include whether the route is a shuttle, kindergarten (A.M. or P.M.), or pre-school route, approximate number of students, location of route and location of students.
