Common use of Canada Holdback Clause in Contracts

Canada Holdback. With use limited exception of theatrical exploitation, Company shall not release or authorize the release and/or distribution of the Picture anywhere in Canada for Television Exploitation (as defined blow) earlier than the release of the Picture in the United States in each respective form of Television Exploitation (i.e., pay-per-view, pay television, free television, etc.). Distributor shall not release the Picture in Canada for Video Exploitation (as defined below) prior to June 15, 2004.
