Camp Conditions. The Company recognizes that the quality of camp conditions, including accommodation, recreation facilities, and meals are of utmost importance to the quality of life for the employees of Kemess Mine. In the interests of providing the above, the Company agrees to the following: (a) The Company shall provide suitable meals and such food shall be handled in a sanitary fashion in accordance with all Federal and Provincial regulations. (b) The Company shall provide a single room to each employee for their sole use while on site and at work during their employment. Each room shall be maintained in good order and shall have clean bedding at least two (2) times and the rooms cleaned three (3) times per 14 day rotation. Each room will be furnished with electrical outlets, heat, ventilation, cablevision, and a suitable locker for personal belongings. (c) Employees working a four by three (4 x 3) rotation shall have the rooms and bedding cleaned once per week. The Camp Committee shall be maintained to discuss ways to further the interests of this Article. Any issues regarding camp conditions shall be forwarded through the Camp Committee to the General Manager, Human Resources Superintendent and the Union Representative for resolution.
Camp Conditions. 114.1 When the Parties of this Agreement are respon- sible for the building of a camp for board and housing accommodation, the following shall apply: Camp accommodations, standing and mobile, will be built and installed by members of trade unions recog- nized by the Building Trades Council. It will not be a violation of this Agreement if the members of the Union refuse to occupy camps, whether standing or mobile if the above Article has not been adhered to. Camp Conditions. The Employers commit to assisting the National Maintenance Council for Canada wherever possible to address the issue of declining camp conditions as discussed during the renewal process.
Camp Conditions. An Employer may to provide room and board in camp at no the employee. Where the Employer elects to provide a camp such employees will not be entitled to receive a daily travel or room & board allowance. When an Employer does not elect to provide free room and board in camp, the employee will be entitled to receive a daily travel or room and board allowance as set out in articles and from work for a legitimate reason by the project medical attendant or an representative of his Employer. An employee who is absent from work without approval and who remains in camp and is still absent from work the following day without approval will be charged for the day of absence and each successive day of unapproved

Camp Conditions. The Employer agrees that minimum standards shall apply regarding camp conditions, including the following: a. Where possible, high speed internet shall be made available; with one (1) connection per five (5) employees to a maximum of six (6) DSL connections or two (2) satellite connections, depending on the availability of DSL in the area. b. One (1) employee per bedroom accommodations. In the case where double bunking is required, a premium of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour per affected employee shall apply as follows: i. longer than one (1) full 10/4 shift ii. longer than two (2) full 5/2 consecutive shifts c. The Employer shall develop and implement a standard weekly or shift “Penn-Co meal plan” to be used on all camp jobs. This plan shall be developed in consultation with a dietician as well as the Union, and shall be in place by October 1, 2011. d. At all times, a phone shall be made available for employees for personal use.
