Common use of Call-in Guarantee Clause in Contracts

Call-in Guarantee. Employees covered by this Agreement called-in for a regular shift shall be guaranteed not less than eight (8) hours' pay for an eight (8) hour shift or ten (10) hours pay for a ten (10) hour shift. An employee called in or asked to work overtime that is not continuous or preceding his regular shift shall be guaranteed four (4) hours at the appropriate hourly rate.
