Common use of CAFA Notice Clause in Contracts

CAFA Notice. Within ten (10) days of filing of this Settlement Agreement in court, Settling Defendant will provide to the appropriate state officials and the appropriate federal official the notice required by the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, 28 U.S.C. § 1715(b) (“CAFA”).

Within ten (10) days of filing of this Class Action Settlement Agreement in courtwith the Court, Settling Defendant Defendants’ counsel will provide to the appropriate state officials and the appropriate federal official cause the notice of the settlement required by the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005(“CAFA”), 28 U.S.C. § 1715(b) (“CAFA”), to be issued to the Attorney General for the United States, and any appropriate state authorities.
