Common use of Business Associate Clause in Contracts

Business Associate. For purposes of this Addendum, Business Associate shall include the named Business Associate herein. However, in the event that the Business Associate is otherwise a Covered Entity under the Privacy or Security Rule, that entity may appropriately designate a health care component of the entity, pursuant to 45 CFR § 164.504(a), as the Business Associate for purposes of this Addendum.

Business Associate. For purposes of this AddendumAgreement, Business Associate shall include the named Business Associate herein. However, in the event that the Business Associate is otherwise a Covered Entity under the Privacy or Security Rule, that entity may appropriately designate a health care component of the entity, pursuant to 45 CFR § 164.504(a), as the Business Associate for purposes of this AddendumAgreement.

However, in the event that the Business Associate is otherwise a Covered Entity hybrid entity under the Privacy or Security RuleRegulation, that entity may appropriately designate a health care component of the entity, pursuant to 45 CFR § C.F.R. §164.504(a), as the Business Associate for purposes of this AddendumAgreement.

However, in the event that the Business Associate is otherwise a Covered Entity hybrid entity under the Privacy or Security RuleRegulation, that entity may appropriately designate a health care component of the entity, pursuant to 45 CFR § 164.504(aC.F.R. §164.105(a), as the Business Associate for purposes of this AddendumBA Agreement.
