Common use of Bus Washing Clause in Contracts

Bus Washing. ‌ School bus and van washing will be reimbursed at the rate of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per vehicle. Washing of a vehicle for reimbursement must be approved in advance by the Transportation Supervisor on the form provided. The Board reserves the right to have buses washed in a private vehicle washing facility when no member of the bargaining unit desires the work. Upon installation of bus washing system, bus-washing reimbursement will only be granted if the automatic bus washing system is broken and/or with prior approval from the Transportation Supervisor’s prior approval.
