Breaks and Lunch. An employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute paid break after four (4) consecutive hours of employment. An unpaid thirty (30) minute lunch break shall be provided to each employee who works at least six (6) hours in a workday at the approximate midpoint of the shift.

An unpaid thirty (3015) minute lunch break shall be provided to each employee who works at least six (6) hours in a workday at the approximate midpoint second half of the shift. Employees working at least 4 hours but less than 7.5 hours shall be entitled to one 15 minute break. It is understood that there may be occasions when the workload may not permit such a break.
