Common use of Board Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Board Responsibilities. The Board of Education agrees: 1. To provide a bulletin board in each building for the general use of the Association which will be located in an area readily accessible to and normally frequented by members of the Association. 2. To furnish to the Association President or designee, in response to reasonable requests, all available information concerning the financial resources of the school district, including but not limited to, annual financial reports and audits, register of classified personnel, agendas and minutes of all Board meetings, census and membership data, and other such information as will assist the Association in developing intelligent, accurate, informed and constructive programs on behalf of the Association. 3. To extend to the Association all the rights and privileges afforded to the public at Board of Education meetings. 4. To send agendas to the Association President and to each of the buildings in advance of Board meetings. 5. To provide the Association President or designee with copies of the official Board Minutes following each Board meeting, at no cost to the Association. 6. To provide to the Association President an up-to-date copy of the official Board of Education Policy Book and all revisions as they become available. 7. All correspondence provided to the Association President shall be passed on to the succeeding President.
