Board Hearings. When any teacher is required to appear before the Board in a formal disciplinary hearing concerning the continuation of that teacher in his/her position of employment, or his/her salary, or any increments pertaining thereto, the teacher shall be given reasonable prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting or interview and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him/her and represent him/her during such meeting or interview.
Board Hearings. When a Teacher is required to appear before the Board concerning any matter, which could adversely affect the Teacher’s employment, the Teacher shall be entitled to have a representative of the Teacher’s choice present. The Teacher shall be advised one week in advance in writing of the reasons for the requirement.
Board Hearings. Where operational requirements permit, the Employer shall grant leave without loss of pay to a reasonable number of employees the Union before an arbitration board, provided the dispute involves the Employer.

Employee Called as a Witness The Employer will grant leave with pay to an employee called as a witness by an Arbitration Board or Conciliation Board and, where operational requirements permit, leave without pay to an employee called as a witness by the Association. Board Hearings. Upon appointment, the Board will conduct Public Hearings on the Undertaking in accordance with the Terms of Reference.
