Blood Drive Clause Samples

The Blood Drive clause establishes the terms and conditions under which an organization may host or participate in a blood donation event. Typically, it outlines responsibilities such as providing a suitable venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with certified blood collection agencies. This clause ensures that all parties understand their roles and obligations, thereby facilitating a safe and organized blood drive while minimizing legal and logistical risks.
Blood Drive. The County shall make a reasonable effort to cooperate with the needs of employees in connection with their donation of blood during County authorized blood drives, including the provision of a reasonable rest/recovery period, if needed.
Blood Drive. The District shall make a reasonable effort to cooperate with the needs of employees in connection with their donations of blood during District- sponsored or authorized blood drives, including the provision of a reasonable rest/recovery period, if needed.
Blood Drive. An employee donating blood at an officially authorized blood bank or in emergencies to individuals, will be granted administrative leave for the time necessary to make the blood donation and necessary time for travel and recuperation. The time authorized under this section shall be limited to four (4) hours on the day the blood is donated.
