Block and interlocking. In the case of the grounding blades a mechanical block must be provided that prevents: - Closing the blades if the main switch is closed. - Closing the main switch if the grounding blades are closed. For all switches and grounding blades there will be an electrical blockage that will have to be released to perform the opening or closing manual operation, or to perform the opening or closing of the grounding blades. For line switches, a local control lock will be available, both manual and electric. An automatic mechanical interlock will be provided to prevent any sudden movement of the switch in its opening or closing extreme positions.
