Common use of Billing and Rates Clause in Contracts

Billing and Rates. 6.1. Village customers shall become County customers, subject to all the County’s rates, policies and the County’s Rules and Regulations, then in effect and as may be changed from time to time as it considers advisable. It is also understood that the existing Village water and/or sewer customers, as identified at the time of the transfer, will be subject to an additional Surcharge Rate related to the Identified Needs list for the Capital Improvement Plan. It is agreed that the County will xxxx those customers, subject to the Surcharge Rate, on a monthly basis, so long as the Surcharge Rate exceeds 25% of the County’s minimum xxxx. If the Surcharge Rate falls below or is equal to 25% of the County’s minimum xxxx the County may elect to switch to quarterly billing.
