Bilingual Stipend. Departments designated by the governing 6 board which require some bilingual skills but where no specific position has been 7 designated as bilingual shall rotate the bilingual stipend among all unit members 8 in the department who have been qualified as bilingual by the governing board. 9 Rotation shall be on an annual basis, beginning July 1 and ending June 30, and in 10 order of seniority based on the hire date. Any unit member transferring into the 11 department shall be placed at the bottom of the rotation list. Unit members so 12 designated shall receive a stipend equivalent to the three percent (3%) differential.
