Bereavement Leaves. (a) Should bereavement occur in an employee’s immediate family (parent, spouse, child, step-child, step-sibling, siblings, step-parents, same sex partner) the employee shall be granted such time off work with pay as is reasonable under the circumstances, up to a maximum of five (5) days and up to a maximum of three (3) days for an employee’s grandparent, grandparent-in-law, sibling-in-law, child-in-law, grandchild, parent’s siblings, parent-in-law, niece, nephew, nibbling.
