Benefits Trust. The benefits of this Article shall be administered by the Union Benefits Trust. In the event benefit plans are extended to non-state employee groups, the Trust will establish appropriate separate accounting practices to clearly identify fund impacts. Except for established payroll deductions for programs and organizations in effect on the effective date of this Agreement, along with any deductions, no additional payroll deductions for dues, fees or contributions shall be provided to any individual or organization without the prior written consent of the Union and the Employer.

Benefits Trust. The Parties have agreed to participate in the Public Education Benefits Trust (PEBT) and to place their dental, extended health and group life insurance coverage specified in this Article with the PEBT. The Parties have further agreed to participate in the government funded “Core” long-term disability plan and the Joint Early Intervention Service provided through the PEBT.
