Benefit Eligibility. Eligibility for increased entitlements to sick leave, vacation and longevity for employees on the County payroll as of the date this Agreement is effected, shall be determined by the total amount of service commencing with appointment to a County permanent budgeted position. For all employees hired or rehired after the date this Agreement is effected, eligibility for increased entitlements to sick leave, vacation and longevity shall be determined by the length of continuous permanent County service.
