BEGINNING OF THE WORK. The contractor will begin the work within days of receiving notice from Turtle Tanks. If the contractor fails to begin the work with- in the time provided without obtaining an extension, Turtle Tanks is free to hire another contractor to perform the work. Time is of the essence.

BEGINNING OF THE WORK. The subcontractor will begin the work within days of receiving notice from the owner or his or her designated agent. If the sub- contractor fails to begin the work within the time provided without obtaining an extension, the owner is free to hire another subcontrac- tor to perform the work. Time is of the essence.
BEGINNING OF THE WORK. 40.1 Before Work shall be started and materials ordered, the Contractor shall meet and consult with the Owner and/or Engineer relative to materials, equipment, right-of-way, schedules and all arrangements for prosecuting the Work.

  • Cost of the Work § 6.1 For purposes of this Agreement, the Cost of the Work shall be the total cost to the Owner to construct all elements of the Project designed or specified by the Architect and shall include contractors’ general conditions costs, overhead and profit. The Cost of the Work also includes the reasonable value of labor, materials, and equipment, donated to, or otherwise furnished by, the Owner. The Cost of the Work does not include the compensation of the Architect; the costs of the land, rights-of-way, financing, or contingencies for changes in the Work; or other costs that are the responsibility of the Owner.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Service Commencement Date The date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service pursuant to the terms of an executed Service Agreement, or the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service in accordance with Section 15.3 or Section 29.1 under the Tariff.

  • Commercial Operation Date 6.4.1 The SPV shall ensure that the Project Commercial Operation Date is achieved on or prior to the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date. The SPV shall provide a written notice to MSEDCL at least 30 (thirty) days in advance intimating MSEDCL of the proposed date on which the Commercial Operation Date of a Unit or the Project is proposed to be achieved.

  • SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, perform all of the Work, and do all things required by the Contract Documents.

  • Lease Commencement Date The earlier to occur of (i) the date upon which Tenant first commences to conduct business in the Premises, and (ii) sixty (60) days following the date of delivery of the Premises from Landlord to Tenant, which delivery date is anticipated to be May 1, 2002, as such date may be adjusted pursuant to the Tenant Work Letter attached hereto as Exhibit B.

  • Term Commencement Date The term of this Agreement shall commence on , 2020 (the “Commencement Date”) and, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, shall end on June 30, 2055 (the “Term”).

  • Evaluation Period Customer’s right to use the Services on a Trial Basis are time-limited and will terminate immediately upon the earlier of (i) the trial end date as specified in an Order Form or other document executed by the parties regarding such trial, or (ii) the start date of when Customer purchases a right to use such Services on a non-Trial Basis, or (iii) the date when QuoVadis terminates Customer’s right to use the Services on a Trial Basis (which QuoVadis may do at any time in its sole discretion). Customer must cease using the Services on a Trial Basis upon any such termination.
