BEGINNING NEGOTIATIONS. The District and Federation agree that except as expressly set forth herein, including any article necessary to address a formal recommendation from the accreditation reports, this contract shall not be subject to reopening on any item for the duration of the Agreement or unless mutually agreed to in writing by both parties. Neither party is obligated to agree to reopen this contract except as stated herein, and any agreement to reopen this contract must be signed in writing by the parties. The contract will run through June 30, 2021. Initial proposals for a successor contract shall not be presented earlier than July 1, 2020.
