Basic Rate of Pay where used in this Agreement, shall mean eight (8) times Basic Hourly Rate.
Basic Rate of Pay. The basic rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established in Appendix "B1", which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as a part of this Agreement. The regular rate of pay shall include any shift differential required to be paid under this Agreement. The salary schedule shall be effective July 1, of each year, regardless of the effective date of the Contract. In the event that any other bargaining unit of the District receive a salary increase and/or other compensation (i.e. on- or off- schedule improvement, improved health and welfare, retirement incentive, bonus, etc.), the Association and the District will meet and negotiate in good faith to provide parity.
Basic Rate of Pay. The basic hourly rate of pay equals the annual salary as set forth in Article 10 divided by:
(1) 2920 Hours for Group B Fire Fighters.
(2) 2086 Hours for Group A Fire Fighters.
Basic Rate of Pay. The term basic rate of pay shall be the hourly rate which includes longevity.
Basic Rate of Pay. SECTION 1. For the purpose of calculating the hourly rate of pay which shall apply to excess hours of work (overtime), the established monthly salary of each employee shall be multiplied by twelve (12) to obtain the annual salary, which shall then be divided by the total number of contracted hours.
A. For 24-hour dual role shift personnel the total number of contracted hours shall be 2520 hours per year. The annual calendar will reflect a higher number of scheduled hours, those hours will be reduced to 2424 hours through the use of programmed “Xxxxx” days and the inclusion of 96 hours of holiday time off. The average number of “Xxxxx” days will vary on a per shift basis from year to year depending on the number of dates a specific shift occurs on the calendar.

Section 15.01 For the purpose of calculating the hourly rate of pay which shall apply to excess hours of work (overtime), the established monthly salary (including any additions required to comply with the FLSA definition of regular rate of pay) of each employee shall be multiplied by twelve (12) to obtain the annual salary, which shall then be divided by 2512 for shift personnel and 2,080 for day personnel.

Basic Rate of Pay. The basic rate of pay or regular rate of pay for a shift position shall be computed on the basis of the applicable annual compensation for the position divided by two thousand six hundred fifteen and six-tenths (2,615.6) hours. Shift employees shall be compensated on a salary basis, based upon an average of 100.6 hours bi-weekly pay period, provided the employee remains working and/or in active pay status (paid status). The annual compensation for an employee assigned to a forty (40) hour work week schedule shall be computed based upon the regular hourly rate of pay multiplied by a projected two thousand eighty (2080) hours. In the case of a salaried forty (40) hour per week employee, the annual compensation shall be divided by two thousand eighty (2080) hours to determine the hourly rate equivalent.
Basic Rate of Pay. For the purpose of calculating the hourly rate of pay which shall apply to excess hours of work (overtime), the established monthly salary of each employee shall be multiplied by twelve (12) to obtain the annual salary, which shall then be divided by the total number of scheduled hours per year. Forty hour employees shall be divided by 2080 and twenty four (24) hour shift employees shall be divided by 2608. (365 days year/3 = 121.67 – 13 (K-days) = 108.67 x 24 = 2608)
Basic Rate of Pay. The rates of pay for all employees shall be as is set out in the schedule attached hereto and forming part hereof. The Company will pay the rates set out on the said schedule PROVIDED that when new inexperienced hourly rated employees are hired (other than Security personnel) they shall be paid for the first thirty (30) working days of their employment at ten cents per hour less than the basic rate obtained at the time of their being hired. Students shall be paid of the present General Labourer classification rate of pay. During the first thirty (30) working days of employment, the performance of all new employees will be reviewed to determine whether the employee is capable of out the duties of their employment in the industry.
