Common use of Basic Commitment Clause in Contracts

Basic Commitment. Except as otherwise provided in Section 2.8, neither WMX nor any of its affiliates shall acquire, or offer to acquire, directly or indirectly, by purchase or otherwise, beneficial ownership of any ServiceMaster shares if after giving effect to such acquisition WMX would beneficially own more than the Permitted Number of ServiceMaster shares.
