Bank Time. The District and the Association agree that bank time is a weekly sixty (60) minute block of student free time and shall be used for professional development and/or collaborative grade level and curricular planning. At least two (2) of the bank time blocks per month will be designated for teacher collaboration and planning. At the discretion of the District/Site Administrator, weekly staff meeting time may be utilized in conjunction with bank time to allow for a larger block of time for professional development and/or collaborative grade level and curricular planning.

Bank Time. 12.1 Sworn and civilian members have the option to accumulate bank time from either overtime worked or court time.
Bank Time. An employee who has exhausted his/her full pay sickness benefits may, at any time during the calendar year, request that the Company suspend the payment of any remaining sickness benefits for which he/she is eligible in order that he/she may take any part or all of any , PTO Bank time, to which he/she is entitled. If an employee has more than 20 unused PTO Bank days as the end of the calendar year approaches, the payment of any remaining sickness benefits for which he/she is eligible shall be suspended by the Company for the purpose of exhausting all but 20 unused PTO Bank days within such year. Notwithstanding any provisions of this Plan which might be construed to the contrary, suspension of sickness benefits for the purpose of exhausting all but 20 unused PTO Bank days shall not, for the purposes of this Plan, be considered as interrupting the employee’s period of absence on account of sickness.
Bank Time. Each employee will be allowed to bank up to a total of 80 hours overtime in each calendar year. Banked time can be earned on ALL overtime hours worked after eight (8) hours per day from Monday to Friday and all hours worked on a Saturday, Sunday and/or statutory holiday. If overtime is banked it will be banked as regular hours.
Bank Time. Employees eligible to bank time shall do so on a pro rata basis.
Bank Time. Bank time not requested or allowed in a given calendar year will be carried over at the end of the year in eight (8)-hour increments (or ten (10)-hour increments in the case of employees working 4x10 work weeks) and will be treated as vacation time governed by the existing vacation agreement the following year, and the remaining bank time will be paid at the straight time rate. The compensatory time bank will then be empty.

Bank Time. The company recognizes efforts to meet operational requirements and where these efforts result in overtime will make efforts to allow regular employees to bank overtime worked and to take it as time off at a future date, subject to the following:
Bank Time. That the current Clause be amended to read: For the period January to December and notwithstanding the provisions of Article OVERTIME, both Parties agree that any Permanent or Probationary Employee requested and authorized to work overtime in excess of a regular work day shall be granted time off as mutually agreeable between the Employee and his Immediate Non-Union Supervisor involved. The accrual of Bank Overtime shall be at the prevailing rate at which it is earned to a maximum of the dollar value equivalent of forty (40) hours pay at the basic rate of the Employee as at January Time off will be paid at the basic hourly rate as of January 1st. Bank Time. A 12-month employee may accrue a maximum of 10 vacation days to be used in subsequent years in addition to the current year’s allotment. Unused vacation days in excess of 10 days at the end of a contract year shall be cancelled (forfeited). Employees with an existing bank of unused vacation days may not accrue any additional unused vacation days until the bank days are used but may retain that bank until used in subsequent contract years. Current employees with unused vacation days shall use said days in accordance with the following schedule: 11 – 21 days, July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2004; 22-32 days, July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2005; 33+ days, July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2006.
