Unless otherwise specified in writing, the statement will be sent to the e-mail address that was used at the time of application. A hard copy of the statement of deposit is available upon request. The designated RESIDENT will then distribute the prorated amount returned along with a copy of the Statement of Deposit Account (SODA) to other lessees. If RESIDENT fails to give notice of forwarding address, MANAGEMENT will send the security deposit statement to the last known address of the designated RESIDENT or GUARANTOR. In accordance with Section 55.1-1226 of the Code of Virginia, MANAGEMENT will retain the security deposit refund (if any) until RESIDENT notifies the office of the correct address. Upon receipt of notification, any refund due will be forwarded.
