Ballistic Survivability. The contractor shall submit a survivability assessment on their proposed system against the threat identified in the Performance Specification. The analysis shall include an assessment of all flight-critical systems, but should focus on crew and flight control systems protection afforded by the crewstation seat and floor armor and on the ballistic tolerance of the fuel system. Also, crashworthiness of the fuel system shall be included in the assessment. Vulnerability reduction techniques employed in the aircraft system should be specifically identified. Susceptibility reduction techniques employed in the aircraft system should be specifically identified. The following information shall be provided if available:

  • Survivability Expiration or termination of the Contract for any reason does not release Grantee from any liability or obligation set forth in the Contract that is expressly stated to survive any such expiration or termination, that by its nature would be intended to be applicable following any such expiration or termination, or that is necessary to fulfill the essential purpose of the Contract, including without limitation the provisions regarding warranty, indemnification, confidentiality, and rights and remedies upon termination.
