  • Prior Experience 3.4.6 The teacher is responsible for providing proof of experience satisfactory to the School Division in accordance with this article.

  • BACKGROUND 1.1. The “Work” is the research article, review article, letter, clinical trial study, report, article, or other copyright work, as identified in the Copyright Letter and further detailed in Schedule 1: Details of the Work (including such form of the copyright work submitted to Xxxxxxx Science for publication pursuant to clause 4, below), but excluding (except where context otherwise requires) any diagrams, figures or illustration specifically identified to Xxxxxxx Science pursuant to clause 3.2, below.

  • Parent Right to Access and Challenge Student Data The LEA shall establish reasonable procedures pursuant to which a parent, as that term is defined in 105 ILCS 10/2(g), may inspect and/or copy Student Data and/or challenge the accuracy, relevance or propriety of Student Data, pursuant to Sections 5 and 7 of ISSRA (105 ILCS 10/5; 105 ILCS 10/7) and Section 33 of SOPPA (105 ILCS 85/33). The Provider shall respond to any request by the LEA for Student Data in the possession of the Provider when Provider cooperation is required to afford a parent an opportunity to inspect and/or copy the Student Data, no later than 5 business days from the date of the request. In the event that a parent contacts the Provider directly to inspect and/or copy Student Data, the Provider shall refer the parent to the LEA, which shall follow the necessary and proper procedures regarding the requested Student Data.

  • Background and Security Investigations 7.5.1 Each of Contractor’s staff performing services under this Master Agreement who is in a designated sensitive position, as determined by County in County's sole discretion, shall undergo and pass a background investigation to the satisfaction of County as a condition of beginning and continuing to perform services under this Master Agreement. Such background investigation must be obtained through fingerprints submitted to the California Department of Justice to include State, local, and federal-level review, which may include, but shall not be limited to, criminal conviction information. The fees associated with the background investigation shall be at the expense of the Contractor, regardless if the member of Contractor’s staff passes or fails the background investigation.

  • Evaluation 1. The purposes of evaluation provisions include providing employees with feedback, and employers and employees with the opportunity and responsibility to address concerns. Where a grievance proceeds to arbitration, the arbitrator must consider these purposes, and may relieve on just and reasonable terms against breaches of time limits or other procedural requirements.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.

  • Knowledge and Experience The Investor has such knowledge and experience in financial, tax and business matters, including substantial experience in evaluating and investing in common stock and other securities (including the common stock and other securities of speculative companies), so as to enable the Investor to utilize the information referred to in Section 4.7 hereof and any other information made available by the Issuer to the Investor in order to evaluate the merits and risks of an investment in the Shares and to make an informed investment decision with respect thereto.

  • EMPLOYEE EVALUATIONS 3. Any matter for which there is recourse under State or Federal statutes.

  • Experience, Financial Capability and Suitability Subscriber is: (i) sophisticated in financial matters and is able to evaluate the risks and benefits of the investment in the Shares and (ii) able to bear the economic risk of its investment in the Shares for an indefinite period of time because the Shares have not been registered under the Securities Act (as defined below) and therefore cannot be sold unless subsequently registered under the Securities Act or an exemption from such registration is available. Subscriber is capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in the Company and has the capacity to protect its own interests. Subscriber must bear the economic risk of this investment until the Shares are sold pursuant to: (i) an effective registration statement under the Securities Act or (ii) an exemption from registration available with respect to such sale. Subscriber is able to bear the economic risks of an investment in the Shares and to afford a complete loss of Subscriber’s investment in the Shares.

  • Background and Purpose Executive was employed by the Company. Executive's employment is ending effective ____________ under the conditions described in Section 3.1 of the Executive Severance Agreement ("Agreement") by and between Executive and the Company dated ____________, 2012. The purpose of this Release is to settle, and the parties hereby settle, fully and finally, any and all claims the Releasing Parties may have against the Released Parties, whether asserted or not, known or unknown, including, but not limited to, claims arising out of or related to Executive's employment, any claim for reemployment, or any other claims whether asserted or not, known or unknown, past or future, that relate to Executive's employment, reemployment, or application for reemployment.
